Norwich Salvation Army to host pop-up shop
Green Pastures Christian Bookshop will be launching a monthly pop-up shop at Norwich Salvation Army, offering a variety of Christian goods to the public. This new venture will join their existing pop-up shops in Bury St Edmunds and King’s Lynn, as well as their main shop in Dereham. The first pop-up shop in Norwich will take place on January 30, 2025, with a special Christmas stall opening on November 28. Visitors can enjoy homemade cakes and hot meals at Catherine’s Coffee Lounge during their visit.
The decision to open a pop-up shop at Norwich Salvation Army was made in response to the lack of Christian bookshops in the area. Major Tracey Bale, Corps Officer at the Norwich Citadel, expressed hope that the shop will provide easy access to quality Christian literature and gifts for the local community. Lance Birks, chairman of trustees at Green Pastures, mentioned that the shop will carry a range of Christian books, Bibles, cards, and gifts suitable for all age groups and occasions. The partnership with the Salvation Army is an exciting new venture for Green Pastures.
The pop-up shop at Norwich Salvation Army will operate on the last Thursday of every month, with the first one scheduled for January 30, 2025. In addition, a special Christmas stall will be available on November 28, offering visitors the opportunity to purchase unique gifts for the holiday season. The shop will accept both card and cash payments, making it convenient for customers to make purchases. Green Pastures aims to provide a welcoming and inclusive space where individuals can explore and shop for Christian resources.
