Norwich City: Tom Dickson-Peters departs on Woking loan

The Scotland youth international departs Norwich on loan for the third time having previously played in League One for Gillingham and League Two for Grimsby Town in the last two campaigns.

Dickson-Peters, 21, is yet to make his senior debut at Carrow Road but boasts an impressive record at youth level, scoring 24 goals in 52 appearances for the under-21s. His most recent strike came in a 3-2 victory over Chelsea at Carrow Road.

City have added former Manchester City forward Dennis Ogwuru and promoted Ken Aboh from the under-18s to Alan Neilson’s squad, meaning Dickson-Peters could experience another loan spell.

Woking have made a productive start to their National League campaign and sit eighth having won four, drawn four and lost three of their opening 11 matches. They travel to Wealdstone on Tuesday evening, and Dickson-Peters could be involved.

The striker is contracted to remain at Norwich until 2025, having signed a new long-term deal back in 2022.

Dickson-Peters next challenge will be proving he can handle the step up into men’s football having enjoyed mixed levels of success during his previous occasions away from the club.

He has been named as a substitute for the first-team on five occasions, most recently in 2021 for their 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa in the Premier League.
