Norwich City: Canaries extend kit deal with Joma until 27/28

The Canaries have agreed a two-year extension with Joma after producing shirts that have won widespread acclaim, namely the 2022/23 home shirt, and broken record sales since the partnership began in 2021/22.

Joma have been responsible for producing three kits this season, including the recently released third strip worn for the first time by the men’s first-team in their defeat to Rotherham at the weekend.

After the decision to end a long-standing relationship with Errea, Joma were selected among a host of other potential suppliers.

Norwich retain creative control of the kit process and designs have come in-house since the partnership was born. The club have proactively sought a fresh agreement with Joma after being pleased with the results of their collaboration so far.

Sam Jeffery, City’s commercial director, has explained why the deal to extend their partnership was a no-brainer from the club’s perspective.

“The past two seasons have produced some of our most popular kits of all time and we are thrilled to commit to wearing Joma until 2027/28,” he told City’s official channels.

“Given how successful the partnership has been to date, we’ve proactively sought an early extension to ensure this thriving relationship remains in place for a further two seasons.

“Our working relationship with Joma is such that we enjoy a flexible design process that enables us to create bespoke kits for Norwich City teams and our supporters to wear with pride. It’s also very strong commercially, and Joma provide exceptional support to our Community Sport Foundation, not least with the showpiece Run Norwich event each year.

“While Joma is growing as a business on a global scale, they remain family-owned, which brings the personal touch to our relationship, and we thank Alberto, Marina, Gema and the wider team in Toledo for their positive collaboration.”

“The support and belief maintained since the inception of our partnership is testament to both organisations, and we are positive that the partnership will only continue to strengthen.”
