Norwich author brings out ambulance audiobooks
A former chaplain to the ambulance service has published a series of audio books featuring a character who is based on a former colleague.
Tim Parsons created the Paramedic Chris series to educate children aged between four and ten about the work of the ambulance service. As well as being available on hardcover and paperback, the series is now available in audio format.
The books look at a day in the life of a paramedic and his friends. Children will learn valuable lessons about important community helpers and what happens when you call an ambulance.
Stories are read aloud in appropriate language for young children to understand and learn about Paramedic Chris and his friends. These are fun and educational audiobooks that children will enjoy, based on true stories from Tim’s experience working with an emergency crew as a chaplain.
The author was chaplain to the ambulance service up until July 2021. You can read more about Tim’s project on his website timparsons.co.uk
