Pregnancy loss charity opens new Norwich hub
TimeNorfolk celebrated the opening of their new Norwich hub doubling their capacity for face to face support sessions for people affected by pregnancy loss in the Norwich area.
The TimeNorfolk team welcomed supporters and professionals from around Norwich and Norfolk to the opening event on September 22. The new hub is located within Chalk Hill House in central Norwich.
TimeNorfolk serves the whole of Norfolk with hubs in Norwich, Great Yarmouth and King’s Lynn. The vision of TimeNorfolk is for counselling support to be available to anyone in Norfolk and Waveney who experiences mental health challenges due to pregnancy related issues, including pregnancy loss at any stage, pregnancy choice or baby loss.
This new hub was made possible largely due to a grant from Norwich Consolidated Charities, as well as the charity’s fundraisers and financial supporters. The new premises has given TimeNorfolk the opportunity to double the amount of face to face client space in Norwich and provide improved, accessible space to support clients.
Director Fiona Gosden says: ‘We are currently supporting 52 clients a week online or face to face. Our 25 volunteer practitioners make this possible with their outstanding commitment and compassion for our clients.’
