Renowned baritone to sing at Sheringham church

Internationally renowned singer, Jonathan Veira will be performing a concert at The Salvation Army in Sheringham on Saturday 13 May, and tickets are now available.

Jonathan made his name as a Bass Baritone Opera singer, and has performed across the globe. His vocal and comic talents have resulted in him singing many of the leading comic baritone roles, which have received universal critical acclaim.

In addition to his operatic roles, Jonathan regularly broadcasts on BBC radio and television and has recorded numerous cd’s and television programs in many genres including light entertainment and religious broadcasting, particularly with Songs of Praise. Tracks from his cd’s on the Elevation recording label are often featured on radio programmes across the globe.

In his popular one-man show – An Audience with Jonathan Veira, Jonathan uses his voice and his skills as a musician on the piano and guitar together with his talents as a comedian and most of all a communicator. This show goes from opera to pop and includes jazz; standards and even country and western along the way.

Jonathan’s Christian faith has been an essential part of his life and work and he has recorded a number of albums that reflect this. These are varied in style and have something to suit all musical tastes from traditional hymns and carols to blues and gospel. They also include a number of well-known inspirational secular songs.

An Audience with Jonathan Veira is on Saturday 13 May at 7.30pm, (the week after the Coronation). The venue is The Salvation Army, Cremer Street, Sheringham, NR26 8DZ.

Tickets are available now on Eventbrite (search Jonathan Veira Live) at £12 each.
