Gresham’s School Chapel in Holt has been awarded Silver Eco-Church status and they have been celebrating with a grand Pet Service.
The Chapel Wardens at Gresham’s School in Holt have been busy caring for creation this academic year and their hard work has been recognised with a Silver Eco-Church award from A Rocha UK. The award was presented by The Bishop of Norwich at the end of the Lent term, pictured above.
To celebrate this achievement, the school welcomed all creatures great and small to a special pet blessing service. Around 1000 students, staff and family members from the school enjoyed the service alongside hundreds of friends from the animal kingdom. Dogs, chickens, horses, ponies, snakes, spiders, tortoises, and many cuddly toys were in attendance and a great time was had by all.
