All change at Eckling Grange
Stewart Barber recently retired as General Manager of Eckling Grange Christian Care Home after over sixteen years of dedicated service. A ‘farewell’ event was held including a thanksgiving service led by lead pastor Ian Masson, with 140 members of the Eckling Grange family present. New manager Steve Edmunds has been welcomed to his new role, with special events to mark the occasion. A ‘This is your Life’ celebration was also held, with all four managers since 1977 in attendance. Graham Pickhaver, chair of trustees, welcomed Steve Edmunds at a special service led by Nigel Tompsett, associate pastor, with a presentation of a bouquet to Steve’s wife, Felicity. Eckling Grange, which offers bungalows for independent living and residential facilities for those needing support and care, celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2023 and has a strong Christian testimony.
