Beccles church offer chairs as new centre opens
Life Church in Beccles is offering 68 wooden chairs with red upholstery to any church interested in receiving them at no charge. These chairs were originally given to Life Church by the local Salvation Army Corps for their new place of worship and community center called The Hive. The center was purchased in January 2023 and was previously a Laura Ashley shop. The chairs, which do not stack, are being replaced with newer ones sourced from a church in London. Those interested can contact [email protected] to arrange for delivery.
Life Church is part of the Relational Mission family of churches and is known for its commitment to community action and outreach. The gift of these chairs is a generous offer to support other churches in their own worship spaces. The chairs have a history of being used in a place of worship and were generously donated from one church to another. This kind gesture demonstrates the unity and support among churches within the Relational Mission family, as well as the importance of repurposing and recycling furniture within religious communities.
The chairs being offered have served their purpose at Life Church and are now ready to bless another church in need of seating for their congregation. The chairs, while not stackable, are in good condition and can provide a comfortable seating option for a new place of worship or community center. The opportunity to receive these chairs at no cost can be a valuable resource for a smaller church with limited resources, helping them to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for their members and visitors.
Those interested in receiving the chairs should reach out to Life Church at the provided email address to arrange for delivery. This gift not only benefits the receiving church by providing them with much-needed chairs, but also reflects the spirit of generosity and support that exists within the religious community. By passing on these chairs to another church, Life Church is exemplifying the principles of sharing resources and supporting one another in the common goal of spreading faith and positivity within their communities.
