The celebrities spotted in Norfolk during summer 2023
1) Tom Hiddleston
The Hollywood star visited several Norfolk businesses in August.
The Loki actor was spotted around Great Yarmouth, at Hirst’s Farm Shop & Cafe in Ormesby St Margaret, The Kings Arm in Fleggburgh, and at Seal View Cafe in Winterton.
Hiddleston is believed to have been visiting Norfolk for a wedding.
2) Hugh Jackman
The Australian actor visited the Waffle House at St Giles Street in July.
Jackman, 54, started with a savoury waffle topped with pan-fried Norfolk field mushrooms and cheddar cheese sauce.
He followed it up with a sweet waffle topped with bananas, toffee and chocolate and a mixed berry milkshake.
The Wolverine star’s mother lives in Norwich and he is a huge fan of the Canaries.
3) Ryan Reynolds
Reynolds was spotted filming Deadpool 3 at a secret location in Norfolk in July,
The beach used for the filming is believed to be Holkham which has also provided the backdrop for films such as Shakespeare in Love and The Duchess.
The actor was visited by his wife Blake Lively while shooting in Norfolk.
4) Robbie Williams
The singer was spotted at Norwich Airport ahead of his weekend of concerts at Sandringham Estate.
Several fans were able to grab photos with the Take That star and added that he “smelt amazing”.
Williams planted a new tree at Sandringham Estate following his sell-out outdoor performances, which attracted 20,000 fans both nights.
5) Carl Fogarty
World Superbike champion Carl Fogarty was spotted at The Ox and Plough pub in Old Buckenham in August.
He made a surprise appearance at a bike meet at the venue while in Norfolk on business.
He said: “I’ve been to quite a few bike meetings over the years, but I’ve never seen anything like that one before. It was a huge turnout.
“I was mucking in, flipping a few burgers and pulling a few pints and if I’m ever down in Norfolk again I’ll definitely return.”
6) Rylan Clark
Television presenter Rylan Clark was seen filming a new documentary at Thetford Football Club in July.
The 34-year-old, who won Celebrity Big Brother in 2013, was also spotted filming at an address in Bury Saint Edmunds for a production with Buzz 16.
7) Ian Brown
The Stone Roses frontman visited Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden in South Walsham this June.
A spokesman for Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden said: “He mentioned that he comes to Norfolk quite often because it is a beautiful place and he likes the peace and quiet – he said he has been to Fairhaven a few times before.”
