Karl Queensbury and Millie O’Connell to star at Theatre Royal
Millie O’Connell, who has previously performed in London’s West-End, is making her return to the Theatre Royal as Sleeping Beauty and expresses her excitement to come back. She loves Norwich so much that she would consider it a holiday destination or retreat. She is happy to be back as she can easily take a drive to the countryside. O’Connell has certain parts of Norfolk that she is looking forward to visiting, including the town of Caistor St Edmund, which she finds very random and enjoyable. She has also been recommended some nice Italian restaurants to try while she is in Norwich, such as Bond 28 and Benoli.
Meanwhile, Alistair Brammer, best known for his role as Hamilton in London’s West-End production of Alexander Hamilton, will be playing the prince in this year’s production. This will be his first time performing at the Theatre Royal, and he expresses his excitement about the quality of the stage and his overall debut at the theatre. The pantomime is always a popular affair in Norwich, but O’Connell believes that this year’s edition goes above and beyond, promising audience members a little twist on the traditional pantomime.
The pantomime will begin on December 9th, and tickets are available to purchase on Norwich Theatre Royal’s website. Overall, O’Connell and Brammer are both thrilled about their respective roles in the production and are looking forward to being part of the show. O’Connell expresses her love for Norwich and her happiness to be back, while Brammer is excited about making his debut at the Theatre Royal and seeing the quality of the stage. Both actors are looking forward to providing audiences with a fresh and enjoyable twist on the traditional pantomime.
