Norwich: Reaction after woman falls from Johnson Place flat
Officers were called to Johnson Place at 9.45am on Sunday (September 10) following reports of the incident.
The victim – who was a woman aged in her forties – suffered serious injuries in the fall.

She was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where she remains in a stable condition.
A man aged in his 50s and a woman aged in her 40s were arrested at the scene on suspicion of Grievous bodily harm (GBH).
“I wasn’t in when it happened,” said one neighbour, who has asked to remain anonymous.
“I came back and there were police everywhere.
“They seemed to be there all day.
“It’s an awful thing to happen.”
The male suspect was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning, while the woman was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre.
They have both been released on police bail while the investigation continues.
“I didn’t hear anything at the time,” said another local, who has also asked to remain anonymous.
“But I opened the door in the morning and saw loads of police cars.

“There isn’t a large issue with crime here and this is the first I’ve heard of something like this happening.
“It’s horrendous.”
