The Albanian national was jailed after he was found hiding in a Great Yarmouth property with almost 90 cannabis plants.

Norwich Crown Court heard Bello, who was said to be a “gardener” in the operation uncovered on June 14 this year, had previously been sentenced to 18 months in prison at Cambridge Crown Court after he admitted producing cannabis in 2020.

Sentencing Bello to 20 months in prison, Judge Andrew Shaw said it was likely Bello would be deported after his sentence.

Sejr Forster, 26, was arrested at his small, one-bedroom flat in Norwich’s Golden Triangle by counter-terror officers from the Metropolitan Police in May last year and was sentenced to four years in prison at a hearing this week.

On his phone, detectives found an “appalling” library of more than 750 indecent pictures and videos of children aged as young as three.

Forster also had manuals downloaded on the device describing how to make explosives. One, which he had saved as ‘b0mb’, contained diagrams and instructions for the construction of improvised explosive devices.

Nathan Varley, 45, Douglas Dickson, 43, and Gary Brown, 53, were described as low-level members of a drugs operation who dealt to other users on the streets.

Norwich Crown Court heard the three men were involved in the supply of heroin and cocaine in Great Yarmouth between December last year and February this year.

Dickson was jailed for 36 months while Varley and Brown both received 30-month jail terms.

Hugh Lansdell, a former senior partner at Norfolk firm Hansells, took a total of £1,963,659.44 between 2015 and 2017 after becoming convinced he had won a Spanish lottery and needed the money to secure his winnings.

Lansdell took £1.5m from his clients and £350,000 from two charities where he was a trustee in order to pay what he believed to be a non-resident tax.

Sentencing Lansdell to four years imprisonment, Recorder Hardy said in court he had betrayed himself, his wife, his clients, as well as all solicitors in general, insisting “your conduct had besmirched the entire profession”.
