Police confirm woman out of hospital after city balcony fall

A woman in her 40s suffered serious injuries after falling from a flat at Johnson Place in Norwich. The incident occurred on September 10th at around 9:45 am, and the woman was immediately taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. Police were called to the scene and initially arrested a man in his 50s and another woman in her 40s on suspicion of causing Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH).

The injured woman remained in the hospital for over three weeks before being discharged on October 4th. It is not clear what led to her fall or if foul play was involved. The authorities have not provided any further details regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident. However, the fact that two individuals were arrested on suspicion of causing GBH suggests that there may have been some non-accidental involvement in the woman’s injuries.

The man and woman who were arrested have been released on bail until December 5th while further investigations are carried out. Similarly, a third person, a woman in her 50s, who was also arrested on suspicion of causing GBH, has also been bailed until the same date. It is uncertain whether these three individuals are directly connected to the incident or if their arrests are a result of ongoing investigations and their potential involvement in the case.

As the police continue their investigations, it is crucial to gather more information to determine what truly transpired at the flat in Johnson Place. The woman’s injuries were severe enough to require a lengthy stay in the hospital, raising suspicions that her fall may not have been entirely accidental. Further updates on the case are likely to be announced as the authorities progress with their investigation.
