Martin Dunford, a travel publishing expert and founder of the website Cool Places, has written a new book about Norwich and its surrounding areas. The book, which features photography by Karin Tearle, is not just a traditional guidebook, but also aims to highlight hidden gems and overlooked places that even locals may not be aware of. Dunford, who divides his time between London and Norfolk, was inspired to write the book after meeting many interesting people who expressed their love for Norwich and would not want to live anywhere else. His personal recommendations include The Great Hospital in Bishopgate, a medieval institution, and Looses Emporium in Magdalen Street.
