Norwich Evening News Christmas card competition launched
The Norwich Evening News is hosting a Christmas card design competition for children, with the chance to win a £100 Smyths toy voucher and a £100 voucher for their school. The winning card, selected by a panel of judges and readers, will be sent out to all the newspaper’s customers as their digital Christmas card for 2023. Many schools have already signed up to participate, but there is still time for more to get involved. All submitted cards will be printed in the newspaper in the week of November 6, allowing readers to vote on their favorites and choose the top 40 designs.
A special panel of judges will then select the top 10 cards, which will be featured in the newspaper in the week of November 27. Readers will have the opportunity to vote for the overall winner. The winner will be announced in the week of December 11 and their card will be printed in the newspaper and announced online. Schools and parents who want their child to participate can contact [email protected]. The competition is sponsored by Castlemeadow Care, whose commercial director, Gary Gardiner, encourages all schools to take part and showcase their artistic talents.
All submissions must be made by Friday, October 20.
