The Broads Tours boat hire car park has also been completely submerged, leaving behind a mud bath that will require time and money to clean up once the water recedes. Sarah Walker, company director at Broads Tours, mentioned that the flooding has affected traffic coming into Wroxham and towards Hoveton, as well as small businesses in the area.
The flooding has caused significant challenges for businesses and the local community, with half of the Broads Tours car park completely underwater, and the water receding only an inch each day. The full river has prevented the water from draining away, leading to severe flooding on the road just before the bridge, making it difficult for traffic to pass through. The ongoing flooding has caused inconvenience and financial strain for small businesses in the area. Despite gradual improvements, the cleanup process will still require time and resources to address the damage caused by the flooding.
