Norwich City: Angus Gunn relishing Scotland v England clash
The Norwich City goalkeeper switched his allegiance from England, having made several caps for the youth sides, to Scotland earlier this year – following in his father’s footsteps to represent the Tartan Army.
Gunn has had a remarkable start to his international career – boasting a 100pc record and only conceding one goal since his debut, which Erling Haaland scored from the penalty spot in a game against Norway.
Scotland are on the cusp of European Championship qualification and that could be secured tonight if Norway and Georgia draw in their game in Oslo.
Gunn has become Steve Clarke’s number one in goal and is expected to start at Hampden Park tonight as they meet in a friendly. Given the two teams involved, it is expected to contain needle and an edge.
It will be the first time that Gunn has found himself involved. He is ready to embrace the occasion.
“It will be amazing. Like I’ve said before, we will be going into the game looking to win it,” Gunn said.

“Obviously, they will be favourites but, at home, we have caused a few upsets, and hopefully we can do it again.
“It’s been an unbelievable start for me. I just want to keep it going and hopefully qualify for the Euros. It will be amazing for the country and the team as well – we are looking to reach that target.”
