Norfolk mum is national business awards finalist
Local mum, and entrepreneur, Tanya Heasley, has earned herself a place in the final line-up of The Mumpreneur Awards, an annual ceremony aimed at celebrating parents throughout the UK who manage the difficult task of juggling business with family life.
The mother of 4 (pictured) from Harleston who attends Diss Christian Community Church, runs Restoring Lives, an anger and life restoration service.
Tanya has been shortlisted for the Courage category, which is open to individuals who have been on an extraordinary journey. Having launched Restoring Lives in November 2014 she set about aiming to promote the primary function of anger, teaching the fundamentals of anger and empowering those suffering with or affected by unhealthy anger to restore their lives and help them to develop healthier relationships, Tanya hopes she has what it takes to walk away with the prize.
As well as being shortlisted for this category, Tanya is also in with a chance of winning the title of The Inspirational Business Mum 2015, which will be awarded to the mum who is an inspiration to all women in business, and could walk away with a fantastic prize.
Having reached the finals of The Mumpreneur Awards, Tanya said “I am amazed, shocked and delighted to have been recognised for my achievements in helping others with their anger and I’m really excited to find out if I’ve won the award!”
Judging Tanya’s entry will be a panel of top entrepreneurs but she’ll have to wait until November 14, when the winners will be announced at The Mumpreneur Conference and Awards, being held at the Heart of England Centre in Warwickshire. This event is open to all parents who juggle family and business, and also for those interested in taking the plunge and starting up. Tickets prices start at just £59, and can be purchased through the Mumpreneur UK website, where you’ll find a whole range of resources and information for business mums www.mumpreneuruk.com.
