Norfolk-based children’s charity welcomes Nick
Norwich-based children’s care charity Care for Children has welcomed former YMCA Norfolk corporate support director Nick Nundy to the team as its Group Head of Finance.
Care for Children founder, Robert Glover, said: “Nick brings with him wonderful experience, having worked at YMCA Norfolk for over 11 years. He is a qualified accountant with 15 years of experience in managing financial and other services in the charity sector, and is a very welcome addition to the Care for Children.”
Care for Children is a UK registered charity that works with governments in Asia to give orphaned and abandoned children the opportunity to grow up in good, local substitute families. They have been offering childcare advice, expertise, training and support in China for 15 years, enabling over 250,000 orphans to move from institutions into local families.
As Care for Children is growing and its work is expanding, Nick’s expertise will be greatly utilised at the charity’s head office in Norwich. Project offices in China, Thailand and other developing areas are supported by the Norwich office.
Nick saw the Care for Children position advertised on the Network Norfolk website.
