Gwilym Davey is set to take on the role of Director of Christian youth charity Norwich Youth for Christ in the new year. He is currently a youth leader at Community Action Norwich and a former graduate from London School Theology. Gwilym is also an accomplished artist, with music on Spotify and two Christian award nominations for Song of the Year 2023. He is excited to join Youth for Christ and looks forward to guiding the Norwich team in the plans that God has for them. The outgoing Director, Nick Blanch, is moving on to a role at British Youth for Christ and is pleased to hand over the reins to Gwilym. Norwich Youth for Christ has been working in Norwich for over 40 years to bring the love of Jesus to young people through various programs, including youth groups, ‘Encounter’ worship nights, schools work, and education programs. The team is organizing a special nativity Encounter in December, and some of their work is also conducted online, including a flourishing online gaming community. Gwilym’s commissioning service is planned for March 27.
