Commissioning of new Norwich YFC Director

To mark the start of his directorship, Norwich Youth for Christ is extending an open invitation to the Commissioning Service of Nick Blanch on Sunday 10th June.

Nick Blanch, who previously served as YMCA Norfolk’s Schools and Communities Manager, was appointed to the role of Director of Norwich YFC in April, following the decision by former director, Mark Tuma, to leave at the end of March.

On Sunday 10th June, 7pm-9pm at a Commissioning Service with the charity’s Patron, the Bishop of Norwich, the Right Rev Graham James, Nick Blanch will have the opportunity to publicly declare his calling to lead and serve Norwich YFC, as he takes up his appointment.

Margaret Smith, NYFC Chair of Trustees, said: “The NYFC team and trustees are exceptionally excited by Nick’s appointment and we cannot wait to share more about the direction Nick will lead us in the future as he seeks God’s plans for the work.”

Nick has a long history of working with young people in many different settings. He is experienced in detached work, schools works, youth clubs, discipleship, mentoring and much more. For the last couple of years he has been managing the schools and community team with YMCA Norfolk.

All are warmly welcome to attend the Commissioning Service which will be held at St Andrew’s Church, Eaton, Church Lane NR4 6NW.

Please RSVP to Becca Savory on 01603 620678 or [email protected] if you are able to attend.
