The journey of Carrow House represents a classic example of how public assets can transition through challenging periods before finding new purpose in community hands. In 2021, Norwich City Council made the significant decision to purchase this property from Norfolk County Council, investing over £2 million in the acquisition. Not content with simply acquiring the building, the city council demonstrated further commitment by channeling an additional £1.4 million into renovating and refurbishing the property.
