Norwich foodbank celebrates its volunteers

Teresa and her son Greg, both volunteers at Norwich Foodbank, share their motivations for lending a helping hand. Teresa’s first experience with the Foodbank was through a group for young people with learning disabilities, where they learned about kindness and caring for others. Impressed by the organized way the warehouse runs, Teresa and Greg decided to volunteer regularly after Greg finished further education. Despite initial concerns about finding work opportunities for Greg due to his additional needs, they found a welcoming and supportive environment at the Foodbank. They now volunteer together as a small family-like team, feeling grateful for the opportunity to make a difference.
