Norwich City: Match officials announced

Stephen Martin has been named as the match official for Leeds United’s upcoming Championship clash with Norwich City. With over 450 matches under his belt since starting as a referee in 2003, Martin has officiated numerous Championship games, including Leeds’ recent win against Millwall. The Whites have a strong record when Martin is in charge, winning eight out of nine matches, while Norwich have a more mixed record, winning seven, drawing four, and losing twice. In the 2024/25 season, Martin has issued 33 yellow cards and one red card in five games.

In his most recent match, Martin oversaw Middlesbrough’s 2-0 victory over Stoke City. Leeds fans will be hoping for another successful outing with Martin in charge, as their team has a history of performing well under his officiating. Norwich, on the other hand, will be looking to improve on their mixed record when Martin is the referee. Martin’s most recent match involving Norwich was their 1-0 win against Queens Park Rangers last November. His team of assistant referees for the upcoming Leeds-Norwich game will be Mark Dwyer and Greg Read, with Matthew Donohue serving as the fourth official.

Leeds will be aiming to continue their winning streak with Martin in the middle after their impressive victory over Millwall. With the team performing well in his matches, Leeds fans will be hopeful for another positive result against Norwich. Meanwhile, Norwich will need to be on top form to overcome their mixed record when refereed by Martin. Both teams will be looking to secure three points in this crucial Championship clash, as they strive to climb the table and achieve their season objectives. Martin’s experience and track record as a referee will be key in ensuring a fair and competitive match between these two top Championship sides.
