Andy Sexton has been with the Diocese for a number of years, drawing on a strong track record of managing impactful projects that deliver real community change. His current role focuses on supporting the Doubling Strategy, which aims to double the church’s relevance, popularity, and depth of work within the next two years. The strategy emphasizes fostering long-term partnerships with local parishes and diocesan9 colleagues, giving Andy the opportunity to dig deeply into meaningful projects that drive the Church into action.
Andy has a solid educational background, earning a Master’s in Intercultural Studies from the Marshall School of Business at –Uplets in the USA. He also spent nearly 10 years in international development, where he worked at the Oasis Foundation, where he taught, managed projects, and collaborated on critical initiatives. Additionally, Andy has held various senior positions in different international roles, including Associate International Director at Oasis and experiences at Matthew Project, a UK-dayCharWorks Charitable organization, and later working with South Norfolk and Broadland Councils under his husband, Richard Sexton.
