West Norfolk Bible teacher leads tour of the Holy Land
Kevin Baldwin, Coordinator of the LIFE exhibition and a former schools worker in West Norfolk, is leading a Christian Travel tour to the Holy Land in August, aimed at teachers during the school holidays but open to all.
From Tuesday, August 13 – Wednesday, August 21 2019, Kevin Baldwin (pictured) from West Norfolk is heading to the Holy Land with the Worldwide Christian Travel company, to lead a tour filled with Bible history and faith.
Kevin has been a Bible teacher in church and schools for many years and particularly enjoys being able to introduce primary and secondary teachers to the settings of many stories in the Bible. He has led trips to the Holy Land before – the last one in August 2018.
During the nine-day trip the group will visit the Temple Mount, the Pool of Bethesda and the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem, Bethlehem and the Mount of Olives, the Sea of Galilee, Nazereth and Tiberias.
Kevin said: “Groups always return full of Bible stories they have been reacquainted with. It is great for any RE teachers wishing to improve their Bible knowledge”.
Kevin has a BA(Hons) in Mission and Ministry from Cliff College and a heart for children’s work. He coordinates the LIFE exhibition, which uses digital technology to give KS2 pupils an immersive experience focused on the life of Jesus, was formerly a schools worker with the CROWNS trust.
The price for the tour is £1,620 per person with a single supplement of £448. Flights go from London Luton to Tel Aviv.
