Lynn Foodbank needs trustees and volunteers

King’s Lynn Foodbank are on an amazing journey and would like to know whether you have got what it takes to join their volunteer team as a trustee, treasurer, fundraiser or press spokesperson?

The King’s Lynn Foodbank feeds over 300 people a month, providing emergency food to people in crisis, and showing the love of God to people in a clear, practical way.

King’s Lynn Foodbank Chairman, Adam Whittle said: “We’ve been amazed with the generosity of volunteers, members of the public, local schools, churches, supermarkets and business. We achieve incredible, life-changing things on the budget we have.

“This year, we’re launching new initiatives: Eat Well, Spend Less (to help people cook well on a budget) and a FuelBank to help vulnerable people keep warm in the winter. But we need your help to make the Foodbank run as we expand.”

King’s Lynn Foodbank are looking for the following people to join the team:

  • New trustees who have experience of steering charities and seeing visions become reality;

  • A treasurer with an excellent head for figures;

  • A fundraiser who is expert at writing bids and appealing to funders;

  • A press and PR spokesperson who is engaging and persuasive.

If you have previous experience in any of the above areas and share our vision of seeing hungry people fed and broken lives restored, then please contact Adam Whittle on [email protected].

The King’s Lynn Foodbank are also seeking to recruit a new Project Manager.  This is a part-time, paid position and you can find the details by clicking here
