Erpingham Young People’s Choir is set to launch next week at St. Mary’s Church in Erpingham. The choir is open to any young person between the ages of seven and sixteen and aims to cultivate a love for music, nurture artistic expression, and promote community among the young people of North Norfolk. The first session will take place on Thursday 9 November from 4.15pm to 5.15pm and there is no charge to participate. Mrs. Eve Bryant, a vocal tutor from Norwich, will lead the choir with a passion for nurturing young voices and ensuring that each member has the opportunity to shine. Singing has numerous benefits for young people, such as building confidence, creativity, and improving well-being and self-esteem. The choir plans to perform a blend of both secular and faith-based songs, with their inaugural performance being a highlight of the Christmas season at a local Christmas service.
