Prayer and Worship week for Sheringham church
Lighthouse Community Church in Sheringham has launched a Prayer and Worship week as they seek God’s guidance for 2022. Tony Rothe reports.
An intensive week of prayer and worship meetings, backed up by on-line prayer opportunities, will take place all week, and everyone is warmly invited to engage with the church family during this next few days.
The main sessions will be at Lighthouse from 7pm to 7.45pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and as usual from 9.45am to 10.30am on Tuesday. A relaxed and informal time of prayer and song in the Lighthouse auditorium.
For those unable to attend in person, there will be a brief time of prayer on Zoom at 12 noon each day. Contact the church office on [email protected] for the necessary log-in details.
On Tuesday evening, part 2 of the Freedom in Christ discipleship course will take place, also on Zoom, as members of the fellowship seek to discover a deeper relationship with Jesus.
Throughout this week, Lighthouse Café will be open from 10.30am to 2.30pm Tuesday to Friday for fine coffees, teas, cakes, and light lunches. Anyone is welcome to drop in for a coffee and find out more about Lighthouse. There is a Soft Play room for under 5’s.
“As the last of the tinsel is now packed away, we need to draw closer to God and seek His will for what He has in store for us this coming year” said Ian Savory, senior leader at Lighthouse. “The events this week provide an ideal opportunity to come along to Lighthouse and do just that.”
