North Walsham church seeks Ocean Explorers
The Salvation Army in North Walsham is holding Ocean Explorers, a holiday club for children aged between five and eleven, in July, August and early September, and all youngsters from the area are very welcome to come along.
The fun will take place at the Furze Hill Resource Centre on Happisburgh Road in the town, and include games, dancing and challenges. A light lunch will also be provided.
Ruth Morey, North Walsham Salvation Army leader, said “The Summer holidays are approaching which is exciting but also a worry for many parents. Our hope is that by providing this fun interactive holiday club we can help take the pressure off, especially with the cost of living crisis continuing. Our aim is to provide exciting games, activities and crafts delivered in a safe and supervised environment to allow children to flourish and explore lots of new things.”
The club is being held on 24, 26 and 28 July, 30 August and 1 September. Places are £5 per child per day or £20 for all five days. To book a place or for more information, contact Ruth by calling 01692 403955 or emailing [email protected].
