Hannah Martin has recently been appointed as the Families and Young People’s Lay Worker for the North Norfolk Methodist Circuit and is already actively involved in projects within the district. Her role involves supporting churches in their ministry to families and young people, collaborating with schools and other organizations to serve the local communities. The North Norfolk Circuit comprises thirteen churches, covering a wide area along the North Norfolk coast from Weybourne to Mundesley, extending out to locations like Hickling on the Broads, and reaching inland to Aylsham and Reepham. Hannah, who has a background in children’s ministry, decided to relocate to North Norfolk with her sister and two whippets after hearing about the new opportunity within the Methodist Circuit. She is enthusiastic about her new role and is eager to work with the community.
Hannah is already involved in various initiatives in North Norfolk, such as being part of the Sheringham Beachlife team and assisting in planning their August outreach activities on the clifftops and beach in Sheringham. She values the opportunity to collaborate with other churches in sharing the gospel and being a positive presence in the town. She will also participate in Messy Family Fun mornings at Hickling, where families can come together for free activities, food, and a shared Bible story. Hannah is looking forward to the summer and is excited about the work that she will be doing in North Norfolk. She hopes to follow where God leads her and support the churches in their existing efforts while also helping to develop new initiatives in the future.
