Holiday Word and Worship in Sheringham
As the summer holiday season gets started, Lighthouse Community Church in Sheringham will be running its summer Word and Worship series each morning next week from Tuesday to Friday, and all are welcome to come along. Tony Rothe reports.
The informal worship sessions will be led by Connor Winston, right, and the speaker, Lighthouse senior leader Ian Savory, below, will be bringing thoughts on the book of Ephesians. The gatherings will start at 9.45am, and finish at 10.30am when Lighthouse Café opens.
Ian said “Whether you are on holiday in North Norfolk, or live in this wonderful area anyway, why not start your day right, in God’s presence, focussing on His word? And you can round off your visit with a fine coffee and home-made cake from our coffee shop. Surely, a great start to a great day by the sea!”
Lighthouse Community Church also gathers every Sunday morning at 10.15am for worship, with activities for children and young people and a creche.
Lighthouse Café is open daily from 10.30am to 2.30pm, Tuesday to Friday.
