Children’s Christian holiday club in Briston
A half term children’s holiday bible club is taking place in Briston next week, and there is no charge to take part in the fun.
The event is open to all children aged 5 to 11 and will take place on Monday 24 October, from 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm. There will be stories, songs, crafts, and games, based on the life of David: ‘the Shepherd King who Liked to Sing!’.
Event organiser, Matthew Pickhaver, said “We run independent Holiday Bible Club sessions for 5-11’s here in Briston each school holiday but we would like to appeal to families from a slightly wider area. This is the eighth such club we have run in the village hall.”
The day will be led by three qualified and experienced schoolteachers, all with up-to-date DBS checks. Parents are welcome either to stay for the session or to drop the children off and pick them up at the end.
The event is completely free but please book places for your children by contacting Matthew on 07910 383682 or at [email protected] .
The holiday club will take place at The Copeman Centre, Hall Street, Briston, NR24 2LG.
