Biking with Jesus in Swanton Abbott
The Norfolk branch of the Christian Motorcyclists Association is hosting an event in the small rural village of Swanton Abbott on Sunday 30 June. The bikers will gather at Swanton Abbott village hall at 1.45pm for a meet and greet session, followed by a short service at Swanton Abbott Community Chapel at 2.30pm where attendees can hear testimonies of how God has transformed their lives. After the service, there will be a final pause for thought and another testimony, as well as a final song before tea and cake are served. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the bikers, ask questions, and take a free biker bible to start reading for themselves.
Jane Everard, a chapel leader, encourages everyone to bring their family and friends, especially those who may not typically attend church or are curious about faith. Motorbike enthusiasts are also welcome to ask questions and even sit on the bikes during the event. This unique opportunity provides a space for meaningful conversations and connections with the Christian bikers. The event is free, with no need for prior reservation, and parking will be available at the village hall. More information can be found on thesacc.co.uk or by emailing [email protected]. The event is open to all and aims to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all attendees.
The event will be a chance for individuals to learn more about the Christian Motorcyclists Association and engage with its members in a casual and friendly setting. Attendees can expect to hear inspiring testimonies of personal transformation and how faith has played a role in the lives of the bikers. The event will also include opportunities for conversation, reflection, and community building. Whether attendees are devout Christians, curious about faith, or simply motorcycle enthusiasts, there will be something for everyone to enjoy and learn from during the event in Swanton Abbott.
