A Night at the Opera at Sheringham church
Sheringham and Cromer Choral Society will be performing at St Peter’s in Sheringham for their final concert of the 2023-2024 season. Titled “With Heart and With Voice”, the programme will feature popular choruses from the worlds of opera, operetta, and oratorio. Some of the highlights include selections from Verdi’s La Traviata and Nabucco, Handel’s Judas Maccabeus, and Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Mikado and Trial by Jury. The choir will be led by David Ballard with Philip Adams accompanying on the organ. Bob Cumber of the choral society described the concert as a joyous programme perfect for a summer evening.
The concert is scheduled for 7pm on Saturday, July 20th at St Peter’s Parish Church in Sheringham. Tickets are priced at £12 each with free admission for those under 18. Tickets can be purchased at the box office of Sheringham Little Theatre, online at their website, or at Cromer Tourist Information. Any remaining tickets will also be available at the door.
