Come to Dereham church’s money coaching course
Dereham Baptist Church is partnering with debt help charity Christians Against Poverty (CAP) to offer a free Money Coaching course to help people manage their finances. The course consists of four weekly sessions aimed at teaching participants skills such as budgeting. CAP Money coaching is a free service designed to empower individuals to better manage their finances, regardless of their level of budgeting experience.
Topics covered in the course include building and balancing a household budget, structuring finances using a proven system, saving money, using credit wisely, and distinguishing between essential and optional expenses. The course is open to anyone and will be held at Dereham Library on four Wednesday mornings starting on October 23rd. Refreshments will be provided during the sessions. Christians Against Poverty is a UK charity that works with over 800 affiliated churches to provide free debt help, budgeting guidance, support for finding work, and life skills groups.
Those interested in participating in the Money Coaching course can contact Catherine Weatherill to book a spot. Christians Against Poverty helped people find millions of pounds of extra income and supported thousands in getting out of debt last year. The organization is authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Participants at a previous money coaching course are featured in a photo provided by Dereham Debt Centre. For more information about the course and to book a spot, individuals can visit the CAP website.
