The ‘Little Footprints’ Stay & Play Group for young children and their parents and carers has just been started at Hopton on Sea parish church.
‘Little Footprints’ offers high quality play experiences for young children to enjoy with their parents and carers, including messy play, craft, soft play and music. It is part of PlayVan, a Christian charitable organisation which runs mobile playgroups around rural Norfolk.
The group meets at St Margaret’s Church, Lowestoft Road, Hopton on Sea every Thursday between 9.15 and 11.15am during term time. The cost per family is £1 including a drink and a healthy snack.
Pam and Irene, the ‘Little Footprints’ volunteers, are looking forward to working with PlayVan to bring play and fun to little people and their grown-ups. For more information about the group please contact Pam Perry on 07931120524.
The Diocese of Norwich’s PlayVan is run by a board of trustees, and is staffed by a Development Worker assisted by local volunteers. The aim is to help establish and support the development of playgroups in small communities, creating a welcoming place for all pre-school children and their parents and carers to socialise, learn, and have fun.
