ONEL HERNANDEZ grabbed his second goal of the game in injury-time to earn Norwich a dramatic late draw at Birmingham in their Championship opener.

Boss Daniel Farke was reasonably happy with the result.

He said: “We created a lot of chances and I am a bit disappointed we did not win.

“But a draw in the first away game is not too bad. We can live with that result.”

Relegated West Bromwich lost 2-1 at home to Bolton Wanderers.

They followed up with a 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest on Tuesday thanks to Matt Phillips’ 87th minute equaliser.

Said head coach Darren Moore: “To come back from a goal down shows great character.

“We finished quite strong. It was a great finish with Matty Phillips and we had a few more chances late on.

“I asked for more cutting edge and we could easily have won it in the end.”
