Killer neighbour stabbed fiance 17 times before turning knife on me in deranged spat over BINS… then made chilling taunt

Dean Allsop and his fiancee Louise Newell found themselves in a horrifying situation when a dispute with their neighbor Jamie Crosbie escalated to a brutal murder in 2021. The couple had reported Crosbie to the police in 2018 after he threw knives at them during a minor argument over bins. Although Crosbie was arrested and fined, the grudge he held against Dean only grew stronger over the years. In a shocking turn of events, Crosbie stabbed Dean 17 times in front of his son before attacking Louise as well. Despite her injuries, Louise survived while tragically losing Dean in the brutal attack.

Dean and Louise had been together for over 25 years and shared three children. They had moved to a quiet neighborhood in Norwich for the safety of their family and enjoyed spending time together outdoors and pursuing Dean’s passion for motocross. When Crosbie moved in as their neighbor in 2016, his antisocial behavior and aggression immediately set him apart from the friendly community. The altercation in 2018 left Louise and her family shaken, but they were assured that Crosbie would stay away from them due to his probation.

The fateful day in 2021 when Crosbie brutally attacked Dean and Louise started with an argument over noise caused by Dean helping his son ride a motorbike. Crosbie flew into a rage, grabbed a kitchen knife, and stabbed Dean multiple times before turning on Louise. Despite her efforts to fight him off, she sustained severe injuries before a neighbor came to her rescue. Crosbie was arrested covered in blood and chillingly remarked to the police that “killing people isn’t always a bad thing”. Dean tragically passed away from his injuries, leaving Louise devastated and mourning the loss of her partner and her children’s father.

In the aftermath of the attack, Crosbie was found guilty of murder and wounding with intent in 2022, receiving a life sentence with a minimum term of 28 years. Louise underwent surgery to repair her injuries and began the difficult process of coming to terms with the loss of Dean. The family has since moved to a new home to start afresh, but the memory of Dean’s senseless murder continues to haunt them. Despite the tragedy, Louise remembers Dean fondly as a loving father and partner who brought joy and laughter to their lives. The senseless violence that took Dean’s life serves as a reminder of the dangers that can arise from seemingly minor disputes with neighbors, highlighting the devastating consequences that can result from unresolved conflicts.
