Norwich: Domestic abuse support project in urgent appeal
Stacy Bradley, from Thorpe Marriott, launched her social enterprise Safe at Home in April last year.

The mother-of-two, who began the project as a result of her personal experience, offers free installation of security cameras and lighting to reduce the likelihood of post-separation abuse and harassment.

But now the organisation is running low on cash and is calling on members of the public to help.
“Right now, there are 230 homes across Norfolk with CCTV,” said Stacy.

“This support doesn’t exist if we don’t.
“There is currently nothing out there like this.

“I run Safe at Home on my own. I don’t have any staff to help fundraise.”
The enterprise currently pays out £2,000 on equipment – with Cadent Gas helping to install the cameras.

And unless things change quickly, the organisation could be left without any money next month.
“This is such an important project,” added Stacy.
“It helps high risk people sleep better at night and the confidence to go to the police with evidence.
“Someone was actually convicted as a direct result of one of our cameras this month.
“If anyone can help, I would be so grateful.”
Businesses and members of the public can reach out to Stacy by email on [email protected].
