The Norfolk Showground is offering the seven large units, which stand at 6,000sqft, for storage hire from September to May.
It is part of a drive by the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association (RNAA) to generate sustainable year-round commercial income from its flagship venue, with projects including a £750,000 upgrade to its Norfolk Events Centre and plans approved for a £2.3m food hall and market garden.
The RNAA said the secure units – which benefit from the showground’s access to major transport routes – can be used for short-term storage while businesses are relocating, or seasonal storage for outdoor equipment.
Mike Parker, site manager at the Norfolk Showground, said: “Our storage units are secure, watertight and offer easy access to customers.
“We’ve had e-commerce companies storing equipment through to supermarkets and retail companies.
“We understand that storage needs may vary and therefore we’re offering flexible rental options to accommodate requirements.”
