New HOME café has opened in Thorpe Road in Norwich
HOME has taken over the former home of Tiffins sandwich bar in Thorpe Road.
The café is owned by Spyridon Priftis and his partner Christina Papadoulou, who are originally from Greece but moved to Hellesdon five years ago.

Mr Priftis said: “Customers have been very kind, it’s good motivation for the long hours that we do.
“They like what they see and it’s rewarding, we’ve done this job before and we love it.

“It’s nice to see a customer happy.”
The couple previously worked in bakeries and restaurants in Greece, which has influenced their menu at the new café.

Mr Priftis added: “It can’t get more Greek, it’s very traditional.
“Every week I’m trying to do something different to attract more people.”
HOME serves a range of savoury items like sandwiches, pies, sausage rolls and pizza, as well as Greek desserts such as galaktoboureko, which is semolina custard baked in filo pastry.
The café is open between 7am and 3pm from Monday to Saturday.
