Holistic wellbeing space The Ash Tree opens in Norwich
The Ash Tree, in Plumstead Road, offers a holistic approach to wellbeing, with workshops and therapeutic practices.
Opening today (September 2), there will be classes for children and adults, including yoga, reiki, massages, meditation, sound healing, wellbeing workshops and fitness sessions in the yurt and surrounding grounds.
Owner Tara Galvin, 35, “fell in love with the space” as it was “instantly calming”, and will run the non-profit business while keeping her NHS job.

Miss Galvin, who will run classes alongside other practitioners, said: “The Ash Tree reflects my commitment to addressing the multi-dimensional nature of human existence.
“I believe a holistic approach recognises and honours the interconnectedness of various aspects of our lives – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual – and how they collectively contribute to our wellbeing.
“By providing a sanctuary for people to explore, heal, and grow, The Ash Tree offers a haven where people can embrace their journey of self-discovery and renewal.”
Classes can be booked in advance via email or Instagram and cost around £10 to £20.
