Albion Games Norwich Video Game Cafe confirms opening date

Those who do attend the grand opening will also get the added benefit of trying out the facilities for free.

Albion Games Cafe is replacing the former One Life Left (OLL) Gaming Cafe, in St Benedicts Street, after it closed in October last year.

Now after almost a year, the new gaming hotspot is to open on Friday, September 22.

New owner Tom Scott, who’s invested roughly £20,000 into the venture, is putting the finishing touches on the venue saying: “It’s been hectic but there’s only a few bits left to do now.

“The consoles will be free for everyone to play from 5pm to 10pm on the opening night, so that people can try the place out.

“Naturally I’m a bit nervous but overall feeling good.”

Tom describes the venue more “as a cafe with video games” offering various food and drink while fitting 12 TV screens around the venue for customers to hire out and roughly 500 games available spanning multiple generations of consoles.
