Christmas pop-ups and an 8 metre high tree coming to Norwich
The Norwich shopping centre is getting ready for the Christmas season by putting up Christmas lights and decorations. The centre features popular attractions such as twinkling trees, Santa’s sleigh, and an eight-meter-high Christmas tree. Paul McCarthy, the general manager of Chantry Place, expressed excitement for the upcoming festivities and highlighted the addition of new retailers that offer more options for Christmas shopping. McCarthy also mentioned that the Christmas lights provide a perfect backdrop for selfies and that there are four festive pop-up shops in the centre. The Calendar Club and Sense Aroma have returned until January 7, Coco Home and Gifts will be available until December 29, and Pollyfields will be selling handcrafted garlands, wreaths, and decorations from November 4 until December 27.
To accommodate the increased holiday footfall, the shopping centre has extended its opening hours during December. Every Thursday from December 7, the centre will stay open an extra hour. From Monday, December 18, until Saturday, December 23, the centre will have opening hours until 7 pm every day. These extended hours aim to provide visitors with more convenience when completing their Christmas shopping.
The Chantry Place Christmas lights and decorations create a festive atmosphere and serve as a popular attraction during the holiday season. With various festive pop-up shops, shoppers have a wide range of retail options to choose from. The extended opening hours offer flexibility for those who need more time to shop or who prefer to visit the centre during quieter hours. Overall, Chantry Place aims to provide a memorable and enjoyable Christmas shopping experience for its visitors.
