New role for Network Norfolk columnist

JamesKnight300Regular Network Norfolk columnist James Knight has landed a new writing job, but will continue his regular contributions to this website.

James has been writing regularly for Network Norfolk for many years, exploring and analysing different aspects of the Christian faith. His views are intended to stimulate constructive debate amongst website users.

By day he is a local government officer based in Norwich.

He has now taken the first steps towards his aspiration of writing for a living by becoming a paid writer for the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity (LICC).  The LICC was founded by John Stott in 1982, and its mission is to equip Christians and their churches for whole-life missionary discipleship in the world.

The LICC says: “We seek to serve Christians with biblical frameworks, practical resources, training and models so that they flourish as followers of Jesus and grow as whole-life disciple-making communities.”

On acquiring the role, James said “I am delighted and privileged to have been given this opportunity to write for such a marvellous organisation, and to join such a fantastic writing team – it’s a real answer to prayer, as I have held long-term aspirations to pursue a career in writing. This is an exciting and important stage of my journey”.
