Norwich talking newspaper Chatterbox needs new recordists

Located in King Street, the charity provides audio publications for visually impaired and blind people, with news taken from the Evening News and Eastern Daily Press.

While the organisation has provided a link to the city’s news since 1979 it’s revealed there are opening for sound-recordists.

“If there is someone who already has, or would like to gain experience, in making recordings for the public we would like to hear from them.

“For newcomers this is a great opportunity to learn the skills of recording and editing live audio.

“Those interested would see first-hand how editorial decisions are made.

The role would involve jobs such as setting up recording equipment, editing and a weekly meeting with the editor.
