New priest at King’s Lynn churches

St John the Evangelist church, and North Lynn Methodist church, King’s Lynn recently welcomed the Rev’d Becca Rogers as their new priest.
Becca has moved from Liverpool where she combined her role as a Curate at a lively family church with University Chaplain, prior to this she was at theological college in Cambridge and previous roles include work as a teaching assistant at a school for teenagers with learning difficulties.
Rev’d Rogers is excited to be moving to Norfolk and joining an evangelical church with a prime town centre position, along with the highly residential area of North Lynn. “The opportunity to serve the community was one of the real incentives to take the role in King’s Lynn” she said, “I want to enhance the church’s role in the community and how both churches can be church and family to the community”.
St John is set on the edge of a public park in King’s Lynn and was built in the 1840’s, there are plenty of events occurring every week and Sunday services at 10.30am and 6.30pm, North Lynn Methodist church is on Losinga Road in the heart of the North Lynn estate, and holds events most days of the week with Sunday services at 10.30 and once a month at 5pm.
Becca is joined in King’s Lynn by Tim, her husband of one year who is a self employed videographer, and both of them are looking forward to working in this beautiful area of the country.
