Lynn church opens doors with prayer stations

Next week, as part of Norwich Diocese’ Open Churches Week, St Faith’s Church in Gaywood will be open at special times, welcoming people into their beautiful building with special prayer stations to inspire quiet reflection.
As part of the Norwich Diocese’ Open Churches Week, between August 6 – 14, visitors are welcome to enter St Faith’s Church, Gaywood in King’s Lynn to spend some time in prayer and quiet reflection.
The theme for the Open Churches Week this year is “A Time for Reflection”. Inside the church a number of prayer stations will be set up to help people with their prayers and to inspire their reflection.
Senior Churchwarden Richard Parr said: “There will be a display by the talented members of St Faith’s Prayer Shawl Ministry and the beautiful building itself offers welcome and comfort to all who enter it.”
The church will be open during the following times :
Monday, August 8, 9am to 12 noon
Tuesday, August 9 – Thursday, August 11, 9am to 4pm
Friday, August 12, 9am to 12 noon.
